The Finnish registry agency is The Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority (Ficora), an agency under the Ministry of Transport and Communications Finland. It continues the operation of the Telecommunication Administration Centre, which was established in 1988. This organization manages everything concerning the existence of a .fi domain name on the internet, including registration, delegation and removal of an .fi domain. The .fi ccTLD is highly restricted, and can be obtained only by officially registered companies in Finland. The ccTLD .fi was established by the Internic on December the 4th 1986. |
