Summary |
|
The ccTLD .cy was established by the Internic on July the 26th 1994 and has ever since been managed by the University of Cyprus on a non for profit basis. After November the 1st 2002, all individuals and organizations can register a .cy ccTLD with the condition that the administrative contract given on the application is a permanent resident of Cyprus. Companies can register up to ten domain names, and individuals (natural persons) can register up to one. Exceptions can be made in cases where the individual is also a member of an organization in which case he/she can register an additional domain name on behalf of this organisation. There are currently about 4000 domain names registered under the .cy ccTLD. |
