This organization manages everything concerning the existence of a .dk domain name on the internet, including registration, delegation and removal of a .dk domain. Since 1996, any legal entity (this includes people and organizations) can register a domain name under the .dk ccTLD. Today, there are more than 570,000 registered domain names under the Top Level Domain .dk, and the growth rate is of 7723,83 new domain names per month (based on the 2004 monthly average newly registered names). The ccTLD .dk was established by the Internic on July the 14th 1987. .
